/Yet, for all this, White was still discontent - and so was Black.
They each had a daughter that resembled them in form or nature.
But the resemblance was unbalanced, each resembling one parent over the other.
Whether in form or nature, the balance was not a true one.
“Let us try once more,” Black said to White, after some thinking.
“Surely we can make a child alike to us in equal ways.”
White found herself surprised, for she was certain Black had been content.
Their desires were in alignment, so they went to make another child.
Their union at this time was a careful one, balanced and tender.
Neither taking over the other, the push and pull in equal measure.
And from these thoughtful actions came their third and final daughter.
A child both like and unlike them both. She was called Green.
