Privately, they were confused - they saw nothing worth hatred in each other.
Still, the word of their mothers and creators was unquestionable.
So, they worked harder to develop their gifts and surpass their rivals.

As time passed, Rose and Indigo grew in the manner of humans.
Rose grew tall and strong, a great beauty with hair like clouds.
Indigo matured into a handsome youth; athletic, yet slim and most graceful.
They were both slowly introduced to their people, preparation for later rule.

Yellow developed, as well, in his own way - rather like a sculpture.
As time went on, his face and features gained definition and detail.
He learned to speak, all the while assisting Green with her work.
Green eventually began sending him out to the people, to assist them.
