Chapter One, Verse Ten

This whole development came quite suddenly to the rest of the gods.
Blue, especially, was quite shocked by the appearance of Green’s new ground.
The ground now provided the world a measure of space and distance.
Yet it was still endless, without limit, without means of being known.

As she was like her father, Blue disliked anything unknowable to her.
A thing could not be at once solid and present and endless.

To give limit to the ground, and give definition to the world.

Green was not displeased by her sister’s actions, allowing them to stay.
It did not change or limit the work she wished to do.
Red merely observed them at this point, having no stake in it.
But her nature set her against Blue, and her mind was watching.
